By public transport

We strongly recommend that you use the bus and metro (remember that the subway is called «metro» in Spanish) instead of taking a taxi. It may be a good idea to get a tourist card for several days (from 24 to 72 hours) to travel by bus, city, metro and tram and that includes trips to the airport.

Taxis can be booked from your phone, +34 96 357 13 13 (Tele Taxi) or +34 96 370 33 33 (Radio Taxi) or, if you have a data plan, use Mytaxi or Cabify (Uber-type service).

By plane

If you are coming by plane you will want to know a way to get to the city. We recommend taking Metrovalencia which has the best price/travel time ratio. Metrovalencia is the subway service that operates on a direct line between the city centre and the airport (~20min) and departs every 5 min.
